Most of my life has been spent healing. My sister Strawberry and I were rescued from a posting, giving us away for free.

 

 Understanding how misguided and devaluing giving any pet away for free is, we were saved from being disposable pets.

​

At first, they discovered I had paint sprayed on my paws, which can often be done, when using as bait for dog fighting. I wanted nothing to do with human touch and even latched my claws, in what my foster mommy quickly understood, was from pain.

 

The sonogram at my wellness visit, revealed the swelling from a large cyst in my ovaries, which left me sensitive to touch around my belly.

​

I am definitely not a lap cat and don't enjoy being picked up ever, but I love getting on my two hind paws & giving peck kisses all day; circular touch sessions are so relaxing, that I may sometimes roll on my back for tummy rubs.

​

I can’t communicate what my life was before being rescued, but sometimes, you will hear me cry out in my sleep and my rescue mommy will bird whistle, which helps me wake me up and I go running to her for comfort.

 

I loveeeeessss me some laser tag; I can bolt from one end of the space to the other, while scaling carpeted wall to the moon.

​

I get scared from loud noises and have been known to growl at a spider, ant or from school kids in the courtyard screaming; if you just remind me that I am safe, my anxiety diminishes. I get along with all of my foster siblings and I’m particularly close to Donna, since we share the same fears and insecurities, yet relaxing demeanor.
